So I'm watching the BBC version of Merlin and man is it awesome! I'm loving it! So I'm trying to not spoil myself of any future eps.

I'm watching the current one and who appears but!

Nope, I am not an ex-Sparrow, athough I might be pining for the fjords. ;)

Wow, a very long time since I wrote in here. Never meant for it to get neglected. Been busy with a new job, working for the government! How'd they decided to hire me, I have no idea. :D

Been working at MPI (that's Manitoba Public Insurance to the Canadians on the journal) and it's been really really great! My co-workers are awesome! :D

Other than working, not too much has happened. Attended Ai-Kon in July where I got to meet Johnny Yong Bosche (second Black Power Ranger, hee!), I am such a geek! He's very nice and we watched his newest live action movie with him commenting, which was hilarious!

Turned 24 on July 30th.

I also attended SNAFU!! Awesome Rugby tournament on august long weekend! Lots of beer was consumed! And dancing! Can't forget the dancing! :D

Nothing really of interest except fanfic writing has been easier during the past few months, sparrowwritings my writing journal is full of stories I've written during the summer and my computer is filled with more waiting to be finished or edited or for plot to come through. :D

I actually just went to Year End Banquet for my men's Rugby team where I am happy to annouce they won the season in first place! Go Wasps! The night went by in a blur of rum and coke with a dirty hooker on the side. And I think a couple of the guys reenacted the dance scenes from Footloose and Flashdance when the music from both of those movies came on. Unfortunately nobody was willing to pour water on the guy dancing on the chair. ;)

But this is mostly 'I'm not dead' post and I'm going to work on juggling this one and my writing journal as best as I can. :)

So, after my last post of woe, I have been busy with temp jobs! So yay for jobs! Worked reception, HR (which happened to be in a market office of 7-Eleven and I got free slurpee's whenever I wanted) and now I'm currently in administration right now that should last three weeks hopefully.

This is mostly just an update for those who still visit my journal here. :D

Parents. There's a topic to discuss. I moved out of my parents place a couple of years ago, but then I had to move back due to some financial issues. I work part-time and am trying to get a full-time job.

I got used to sharing chores with roommates, used to paying for my own food and have 'certain food stuffs' that only belonged to me as long as I labeled them mine, I certainly didn't mind sharing if someone asked.

Here, I am expected to do a majority of the chores in the household. From cleaning practically the upstairs of the house where the only mess I would leave would be probably a few dishes. My mother doesn't lift a finger to help out, only when she feels like it or if we have company coming over and then when I help out, my 'cleaning techniques' aren't apparently good enough.

The only thing my father does is towels and then only partakes in cleaning if it's something big like cleaning out a closet and organizing something 'important'.

My father has now issued an ultimatum, I now have to pay room and board, get a full time job, and pay them back for certain 'allowances', oh and I am also cut-off from the internet until I get a full-time job, maybe. I have to go and get a job, but what my dad fails to realize is, that a majority of the places where you can get a job now, expect you to submit resume's over the internet and nothing I try and say to him to change his mind to at least let me have a little bit of internet time to do so deters him from his stupid stubborness. I have to go out at 9 am and do this, while most places don't open up until 10am, plus I have to 'report' to him about where I go and what places I've applied to and what I did to get a job.

This shit is totally disregarding the previous arrangement that my dad and I had originally, just because he thinks he's on fucking spring break he can tell me all this fucking shit! The original arrangement was, as long as I had a job and did my chores, I wouldn't have to pay room and board. Now, I have been looking for a full-time job for awhile now, but apparently my 'lack of speed' as he puts it, isn't worth anything anymore.

I'm trying to do the best that I can, but apparently my best isn't good enough. It never has been for my dad and never will be if he can't trust me to take care of myself and my own life. In addition trying to get a job, I'm really putting application stuff together for college and a funding to pay for school, organize an anniversary party for my female rugby team and I'm already stressed out enough as it is with all of this that I do not need my fucking father messing around in my life!

So it's Easter Sunday, I am at my Uncle's, I have had food, dessert and I shall soon consume a disgusting amount of chocolate. I expect to die from a self-implosion. My mom was also wonderful and surprised me with a gift today! I am now the proud owner of a Nintendo DS Lite! With Assassin's Creed as my main game, I shall conquer it! Rawr!

Also, I saw P.S. I Love You today, very sappy, made me cry and want to ravage JDM, James Marsters and Gerard Butler. Ok, so a few days later I live! I survived the surgery! I am now minus an organ! Poor organ...*sniffs*

I figured people would like to know. :)

For those of you who've been keeping upto date on my gallbladder news, a surgery date has been scheduled for Feb. 01! Around 12:30pm central time. I've know for a couple of weeks now, I've just been slightly lazy posting the news on it. Sorry about that.

Ok! I live! The day I had the ultrasound I went back to the hospital that night and the doctor's found that I have gallstones. So, during the stay at the hospital for most of the evening this was found out, more tests were taken and at 1am in the morn they found that my gallstones were stuck in my bile duct. A tube that goes from my gallbladder to my liver. So I was sent home, being told that I would get a call the next day for a procedure.

I got the call Weds, 10am, told to come into the hospital right away and they were gonna stick a tube down my throat and get rid of the gallstones in my bileduct. So that was done, I was sedated, woke up all groggy and stuff. Went home a couple of hours later where I was told I would have to get a referral to a surgeon and get my gallbladder removed.

So, I am still waiting for the surgeon to give me a call, this referral was sent out Dec. 22. But that is what's going on, so I'm still waiting on surgery.

So, I had my CT scan on December 05 for the pain I've been experiencing in my side and was all set to make an appt on monday 2 weeks ahead to find out what's the what. Well I didn't have to do that as my abdomen exploded in pain on Sunday, on both sides this time!

I was actually in and out of the hospital pretty quickly, my pain had died down quickly, which was very nice. The doctor who I saw checked out my CT results and apparently I have gallstones! Which means I may have surgery to get my gallbladder out, oh joy.

I'm scheduled for an ultrasound this Tuesday, tomorrow, and my sister is taking me. This just to see if anything else is happening, 'cause my pain has mostly been on my left side and the gallbladder is located on my right, so the doctor is concerned about that and the gallbladder.

Until then, my painkillers have been upped from T3's to Perkacet's. Which knock me out quite nicely.

There shall be more news tomorrow following the ultrasound, of course if it's very serious, then I maybe in surgery within the next few days. T.T

Ok, yes, I live!

I know, I know, haven't posted since August, bad Sparrow, bad! *smacks self*

I was in the hospital most of Sunday, where I was told I might have Kidney Stones, I am waiting on a phone call to set up an appt for a CT Scan. I've had terrible pain in my side for 2 months now and only recently it's been more intense. The doctor I did go to said it was muscle spasams which it apparently might not be. So until I know what's going on T3's are my friend.

Now what else has been happening with myself. I've seen all the summer blockbusters, which rock btw. On a side note August Rush was very excellent, Robin Williams = crazy, in the film I still have my job at Pennington's, go me! The new tv shows out have consumed my life.

This is mostly a quick post to say hi, am still alive, feel free to IM, etc. :)

Ok, I admit it, I drink. I will usually go to a social with friends and drink, but not enough to get thoughly drunk, just 2 drinks and I'm done for the night.

I choose to be selfish and only really get truly drunk, 3 nights outta the year. Sometimes I even choose not to drink and will drive my friends home.

The question I'm proposing is for your friends that don't drink, does this seem selfish to you and does it hurt them when you choose to drink and they don't.

My nephew, my wonderful nephew who is filled with happiness and joy just said the most hilarious thing ever.

So I'm getting a hug from him and he's resting his head on my chest and my sister is in the doorway checking up on him and then he looks at me and then my sister and goes...

"Aunty Carrie! You have the same boobies as mommy!"

He said this 2 more times; my sister and I just cracked up laughing. I'm still laughing here and I'm happy that he said this in the house instead of outside in a store or somewhere else. lol

So, I now have a second job, where I work at a place called The Patio. People who live in Winnipeg know what place I'm talking about, yes it's open again. :D

I now work 2 part-time jobs, so I now have no life and in having no life, I have no time to read my new Harry Potter book! I am contemplating if I have time this Sunday, I shall devour it! And nothing shall stop me, except for food. :D

This is also a bad time to get hooked on a new/old tv show as well. T.T

I only have time to eat, sleep and shower mostly at the moment.

There's this Broadway Play called Spring Awakening, now I've only heard the music and seen a few vids off of YouTube, but it looks amazing. One of the songs I can't stop playing, so I thought I would share. The Bitch of Living. Check it out and play it over and over and over again. :D

Was also cruising through Wikipedia and stumbled up these two gems.

Tin Man, a miniseries that's being made for Sci Fi for Decemember 2007. Completely reimagined Wizard of Oz, it looks really interesting. I can only hope it comes to Space.

And then there is Bionic Woman. Now, the Bionic series was always interesting and since they revamped it for 2007, there's a preview on YouTube and I at least think it looks amazing.

Okay, last month has been a little nuts, saw Shrek the Third, Spiderman 3 and Pirates 3, all of which were quite excellent.

Now a while ago, I decided that I would move back into my parent's place, just due to financial difficult which I hope I will now be able to sort out.

Also, May longweekend (May 19th to the 21st) I had gone out to a social, spent the night, but I called my work, because the past two weeks before I had only had one shift per each week and they were oncall. Also, the manager had decided to hire 2 more day girls. Now I don't know about you, but all of that sounded like they were phasing me out.

So when I called on May long and found out I wasn't even on the schedule for next week, I even asked if I was on the schedule and I was told no I wasn't. I though, 'ok, I must be fired, I'm not even there anymore' My supervisor did advise me to call back to talk to the manager to find out what was what. So I did call, but everytime I did call she wasn't there or the line was busy, so I gave up, decided that was life and would look for another job after I moved out and decided to concentrate on getting all my stuff together to move out, etc.

So I got a call earlier today, one of the supervisor's, not the one I talked to before asked how I was doing and why I didn't come in last week for 2 of my shifts. Now I had just woken up and I'm like 'Whu?'. I thought I was fired, phased out, not even hired by them anymore. She said that they didn't anything like that without letting someone know and I replied that it had happened to me before. So I apparently have three shifts this week and I decided I shall talk to the manager on Thurs to figure out what's what.

But still, if I had 2 shifts last week and 'cause I didn't show, why didn't someone call me, I was still at my old phone # last week.

It's all very confusing and frustrating and I'm not even sure what's going anymore, 'cause apparently I'm still hired by them, but I haven't worked at the store in like almost a month now.

Still deciding if I should give 2 weeks notice and find another job.

So I started walking last week to get some exercise, it's going good. I'm quite proud of myself. Now if only I hadn't watched 'Faith' of Supernatural yesterday and if only on my last part of my walk today 'Don't Fear the Reaper' started playing. *facepalm* I think I hurried those last few minutes getting home. lol
